“Monday’s Child” is one of many popular as nursery rhymes for children. It is supposed to tell a child’s character or future based on the day of birth and to help young children remember the seven days of the week. As with all nursery rhymes, there are many versions.  Below is one of the common modern versions.

Monday’s child is fair of face,

Tuesday’s child is full of grace,

Wednesday’s child is full of woe,

Thursday’s child has far to go,

Friday’s child is loving and giving,

Saturday’s child works hard for a living,

But the child who is born on the Sabbath dayIs bonnie and blithe and good and gay.

What if Wednesday’s child wasn’t  full of woe.  What is Wednesday’s child was just a little mixed up like my dress?  I have my dress on backwards.  Shhhhhhhh don’t tell anyone, lol.  This Rachel Roy MIXED MEDIA SWEATER DRESS has such beautiful button details I just had to put them on display.  I knew from the first time I tried this cutie on I was going to wear the button in the front.  That’s one of the great things about fashion,  You can play around with it.  Sometimes you’ll have hits and sometime you’ll have misses.  Taking the chance on wearing the buttons in the front for me was a real hit!  The ever flattering fit and flare silhouette works very well with the ruffle above the knee hemline.  That same ruffle detailing and mesh details at the shoulders is nothing less than the basic black dress upgrade.  Rachel Roy’s MIXED MEDIA SWEATER DRESS V neckline works great for the office in heels or on the weekend paired with oxfords.
