Rose’s Flower Shop
Flower Shop Details
We weren’t given details about the shop’s inventory. We were just told to arrive early because the line would be cut off when capacity was reached. Rose’s Flower Shop is a 1 of-1 as Black American florists make up about only 4% of the industry in the United States
What I wore to the Derrick Rose’s Flower Shop Pop-Up
As I approached the entrance to the venue, I was greeted by a beautiful array of flowers that spilled out onto the sidewalk. I was asked my name and phone number then entered the building. The floral displays were beautifully arranged, showcasing a mix of radiant roses in bloom. The sweet fragrance of fresh flowers wafted through the air, creating an inviting atmosphere. It was clear that this pop-up was not just about getting flowers; it was a celebration of giving.
There were flower stations where attendees could create their own bouquets. We were then guided by staff to the delivery station. This hands-on experience encouraged participants to express themselves through writing and floral artistry.
In the back corner of Rose’s Flower shop, Derrick Rose himself was so inviting to his fans. He greeted everyone with a hug. Derrick took the time to briefly chat and take pictures. His warm demeanor and genuine interest in those around him created a welcoming environment. As someone who has faced numerous challenges throughout his career, Rose’s presence reminded me of the importance of resilience and community support.
Derrick Rose And His Flowers
Rose, the former Bulls MVP, announced his retirement from professional basketball in September. Rose was drafted first overall by his hometown Chicago Bulls in 2008. He quickly jetted to NBA superstardom after winning Rookie of the Year in 2009.
The Chicago Bulls will celebrate the franchise favorite, Derrick Rose, on Saturday, Jan. 4, for Derrick Rose Night. A perfect time to give Rose his flowers.
Is this really a one-time flower shop?
The question of the day from everyone in line was “Is Rose’ the Chicago flower shop here to stay?” If you missed the chance to get a bouquet from Derrick Rose’s flower shop try out forever flowers by LEGO Icons Bouquet of Roses.
