LOFT of the Ann Taylor or Ann Inc. brand umbrella started in 1998.  In the Loft’s Diamond anniversary year, 2018, they will be offering Plus Sizes in February.  LOFT creates modern, feminine and versatile clothing with one common style goal: to look and feel confident, wherever the day takes them.  They offer everyday essentials to  trends pieces.

LOFT in addition to just carrying straight sizes; The LOFT has petite and maternity sizes.  LOFT has been made many of their currently plus size dresses, pants, cardigans, blouses, jeans, and tees exclusively available though the plus size subscription service Gwynnie Bee.  So I was pleasantly surprised to hear while I opened my Gwynnie Bee box when I got the LOFT to carry plus size news.

Much is not known currently about what the LOFT will offer in plus sizes.  The sizing on the LOFT site stops at XXL or 18 for now.  Larger sizing on the GB website could help with getting an idea of what’s to come.

I’m in love with Chrissy’s deep pink-red lippe.  It’s called Icon by Hourglass and is available at Sephora.

This Is Us star Chrissy Metz wore a custom Ann Taylor LOFT polka dot wrap dress while on the Late Night with Seth Meyers.  Metz tagged the LOFT in her Instagram post wearing the dress on the someday as the news the LOFT’s 2018 spring collection would include plus size.  The LOFT Plus spring collection will include Metz’s polka dot dress.  Until then LOFT Plus can be closeted through Gwynnie Bee.

The pants or trouser I’m wearing are LOFT Plus through GB .  I’m wear in a size 20.  They are somewhat long as I am 5 ft even.  Normally I would have had them hemmed however I’m only borrowing this pants so I popped on a pair heels to give me more height.  The pants are very nice.  They offer a very classic yet modern look.  I would say size up in the pants for a better fit.

This camel Katherine Barclay two pocked vest with side slits is from Gwynnie Bee also.  I wearing a size xx.  The fix is well.  The color and the fabric are wonderful.  It’s polished and stylish.  Great for work or a date night.

I wore a white A NEW DAY shirt under the pocked vest.  My GB box helped to be shape a beautiful outfit.  I can’t wait to see what I receive next!

First, let me tell you a little about the Gwynnie Bee service before I get into my review of these Melissa McCarthy Seven7 jeans.  Gwynnie Bee is an online subscription-based clothing rental service.  They provide women’s clothing in sizes 10-32. Members pay a flat monthly subscription fee and are able to rent a large collection of clothing.  Now that you know the secret to my ever changing wardrobe on to the review.

 

Gwynnie Bee Melissa McCarthy Seven7 Jeans ..........

This is my first time trying on Melissa McCarthy Seven7 jean brand.  I didn’t have a personal guide to go on for the sizing of the jeans.  I did use the sizing guide provided by Gwynnie Bee on the website.  I was still was a little worried so I requested a size 18W and 20W in the same jeans.  The jeans are stretch pencil in the cape code wash with side zip pencil.  These medium wash stretch-cotton jeans have a fitted thought leg and a button-closure. The front rise is 12″, Back rise: 17″, Leg opening: 6″, Inseam: 28.5″ (from size 16W).  The jeans do not come with front pockets how they come with zipped back pockets.

The jeans make-up are cotton / polyester / spandex.  The paneled seams and classic blue wash, this skinny stretch jean are the contemporary edgy look I love.  I paired the Melissa McCarthy Seven7 Jeans (18W) with this Rolling Stone tee (2X) and these fab shoes.  Now that I’ve fallen in love with these Melissa McCarthy Seven7 Jeans I glad I can purchase them right from Gwynnie Bee.

 

 

These jeans are soft and very comfortable.  The stretch in the jeans is great.  The stretch didn’t give or get loose throughout the day.  The cut made me feel very good about myself while wearing them.  I’m a fan.

This is a great look for a girls night or date night or even just hugging the block doing your hood girl Cardi B glow up. Oooooooooooooooow!!

There is something special about a dress with pockets.   I love them.  They make me feel like I’m on top of the world.  Pockets can take a dress from yes to yassssss!  I have a few dresses with pockets.  In the past one might say my obsession with pockets have left my wallets somewhat flat.  However, Gwynnie Bee help with all that.  Gwynnie Beee is an online women’s clothing rental subscription service for sizes 10-32.

I’ll basically rent my wardrobe from Gwynnie Bee.  I’m excited to share this.  I get an endless  supply of stylish fashion options for one monthly fee.  GB offers free shipping both ways (LOVE THAT) and unlimited clothing exchanges.  This is a blessing for a girl like me that goes to many events and is always looking for something new to wear.  Or even a woman who likes to try before they buy.
