#FatGirlMagic is a real thing!  I see women of size slaying daily.   I wanted to offer my take on this magical wave.  My core style has always been whimsical so this look is how I feel in my head all the time.  Some women may say “I don’t have the confidence.”  I say put of your crown and work your magic.

I say this in all my post.  I’m cheerleader for women wearing what they want.  It doesn’t have to be a two piece swimsuit it could be that bodycon you have in the closet that you’ve never worn.  Or those jeans you love but feel people might stare.   At the end of the day you must do what’s best for you.  Make yourself happy.  It’s just clothes you’ll have on something completely different tomorrow.

Blossom is 90’s sitcom that made a huge influence on me.  Blossom was very imaginative and had an opinion about almost everything.  Just like me.  Blossom wasn’t your average girl, either, and that’s what made her special. She was quirky, had cool fashion sense and was very relatable.

My parent separated around the same time the show came out.  The show made divorce normal.  I saw a girl like me dealing with the same issue I was going though.  A lot of her feeling were my feelings.

Risky Business

Risky Business is an 80’s coming of age romantic comedy about a Chicago teenager is looking for fun at home while his parents are away, but the situation quickly gets out of hand.  When I tried in this shirt dress I had a major urge to slide across my living room floor.

As a plus size body positive blogger, I’m a cheerleader for women wearing what they want.  I do myself at times question how does an outfit look on me.  How will this outfit on me appear to others?  The shirt dress was one of those times.  Will people think I’m nude?  Will people think where are her pants?  I had to take a step back and become my own cheerleader.

Being your own cheerleader will give you confidence.  The confidence to step out with your head held high knowing that you’re beautiful just the way you are. What risky fashion have you been scared to wear?

It is supposed to tell a child’s character or future based on the day of birth and to help young children remember the seven days of the week. As with all nursery rhymes, there are many versions.  Below is one of the common modern versions.

What if Wednesday’s child wasn’t  full of woe.  What is Wednesday’s child was just a little mixed up like my dress?  I have my dress on backwards.  Shhhhhhhh don’t tell anyone, lol.  This Rachel Roy MIXED MEDIA SWEATER DRESS has such beautiful button details I just had to put them on display.  I knew from the first time I tried this cutie on I was going to wear the button in the front.  That’s one of the great things about fashion,  You can play around with it.  Sometimes you’ll have hits and sometime you’ll have misses.  Taking the chance on wearing the buttons in the front for me was a real hit!  The ever flattering fit and flare silhouette works very well with the ruffle above the knee hemline.  That same ruffle detailing and mesh details at the shoulders is nothing less than the basic black dress upgrade.  Rachel Roy’s MIXED MEDIA SWEATER DRESS V neckline works great for the office in heels or on the weekend paired with oxfords.

Clothing should be fun and show your personality.  This dress can be done up so many ways.  I can see a curvy girl rocking a look with pearls with Breakfast At Tiffany’s as inspiration.   I was really feeling, black dress icon, Wednesday Friday Addams vibes.   I decided to do very nude makeup application as a homage to the pale one.  If you were wondering no I’m not a Wednesday’s child.  I’m a Saturday’s child that works hard for a living!  What’s child are you?  Do you like how I played with this gorgeous dress by wearing it backwards with the buttons in the front?  Would you wear it this way?  How do you play around with fashion?

I’ve a few people as about my dating status my post on my first date at the museum.  Well that when nowhere.  I found it very hard to date as a blogger.  Let me know blame blogger it could be this age of social media.  I’m in a Instagram profile like 92 weeks ago like oh hell nah.  Yes I’m that girl, lol.  I’m all on a Twitter post from 2014 thinking why is he tweeting about having to pay child support.  I have to do better.

In this social media is age the first thing a person will sometimes ask you for is your Instagram.  Even before your phone.  I had this one guy see I was a blogger and ask if I could promote this mixtape.  Dude I’m not part of your street team.  Or worst they think I’m going to blast them over my social channels. That would be a no.
