It’s spring! Yes even with mother nature acting up it is spring. Even though the weather being uncooperative with the calendar, WHO WHAT WEAR, Target and myself are pressing on with our spring plus size style. And more importantly, spring plus size style that is budget-friendly.
What’s budget-friendly? Well inexpensive. I know what a person feels is “inexpensive” can be within the eye of the beholder. However, WHO WHAT WEAR for Target is really affordable. All of the current pieces in the spring collection are under $40 dollars!

WHO WHAT WEAR offers Target loving fashionista a new collection every month or so. The latest collection is very thing a trendy girl needs to get Instagram really. The WHO WHAT WEAR collections includes dresses, tops, bottoms, jackets, shoes, and of course accessories.
WHO WHAT WEAR for Target is plus friendly with sizes available up to 4X or 30W (varies depending on the item). I have seen these larger sizes in-stores however those sizes go fast. Plus sizes are readily available online at target.com
I love many of the WHO WHAT WEAR for Target past collections. They allow me to stay on trend while not breaking the bank. I find the WWW clothes to be of good quality and now are staples in my closet.

The off the shoulder ruffle midi dress I’m wearing is from the WHO WHAT WEAR collection. Made of polished cotton fabric it has a simple asymmetrical top that is balanced out by a full mid-length skirt. This dress is available up to 4X (28-30W). I’m wearing a 3X (24W-26W). I normally wear 2X because I’m an 18-20, however, this dress’ material (70.0% Cotton, 28.0% Nylon and 2.0% Spandex) has no stretch so I went up a size so it would fall off my shoulders. The waist-cinching belt that comes with the dress allowed me to remain shapely.  Â
Who What Wear for Target Style Collaboration

âI call it my psychedelic greenhouse. Last year, Target aka âTar-zhayâ gave us A New Day which offers trendy styles and athleisure with Joylab. I personally love both labels. So when I heard Target was creating a denim line I was very open for it. So let me introduce you to that line, Universal Thread. Universal Thread is Target’s new womenâs lifestyle brand focused on denim and their first private label launch of 2018. Universal Thread wants to be a staple in women’s closet, especially within the plus community. This newly added line is the capper to the other plus friendly line’s carried at Target such Ava & Viv and Who What Wear.
Universal Thread brand includes tops, dresses, accessories, and shoes with prices ranging from $5 to about $40. The new label will service sizes starting at 00 and run through 26W. This is the first time Target has launched a brand with this large of a range. Mark Tritton, Targetâs executive vice president and chief merchandising officer, said: “Universal Thread is a denim-centric collection fit for all body types.”  Target says jeans are making a comeback as women now look to diversify their wardrobes beyond leggings. I agree with him. I find it refreshing to have an exclusive womenâs lifestyle brand offering denim.
In developing Universal Thread, Target said they research with nearly 1,000 women from across the country to better understand their needs when it comes to shopping denim. (I wish they would have reached out to me, lol.) Target heard from nearly all of them was that they dreaded shopping for new jeans. Whether the rise was too long or the inseam was too short or the pair of jeans they wanted didnât come in their sizeâfinding the perfect fit for their body type was just too challenging. Thatâs a problem Target wanted to solve.
My thoughts on the Universal Thread: It is great to have another option for denim. I’m wearing a pair of the Universal Thread jean in the Mid-Rise Curvy Skinny style. They in the color indigo and size 18 long. These Mid-Rise Curvy Skinnies are from the straight size line of the brand. In the pair, I’m wearing size 18 is the largest of the “straight size” sizes. These jeans fit very well. They have great stretch. Depending on what shoes I’m wearing I could have gone with a regular and not a long but the long works also. As a petite plus size blogger is great to see Target offering Universal Thread in different height ranges as well as extended sizes. I feel they are excellently made. Even though parts of the jeans are made from recycled plastic bottles they don’t look used or damage at all. I didn’t know I was missing my new favorite jeans from my wardrobe until I tried this on. Â
