The Nike brand is a friend of the blog.  We covered the NIKE CHICAGO TECH PACK STUDIO EVENT were we saw Nike tech pack styled for men and women by Chicago stylist.  We also welcomed Nike into Nordstrom at the NORDSTROM X NIKE SNEAKER BOUTIQUE CHICAGO launch.  So when we were invited to the Women Empowerment | Ladies Shop Talk presented by Nike Chicago we were honored.  This Women Empowerment | Ladies Shop Talk presented by Nike Chicago played off how women talk in the beauty shop or nail salon.  There was a focus on fashion and styling the iconic Cortez sneaker as an everyday fashion shoe.

The women’s Cortez sneaker style talk at Nike Chicago celebrated the exclusive launch of the Nike Cortez collection.  There was also a nail bar by my forever bae and home decor artist  Spifster in addition to a mimosa bar, and style talk with some of Chicago’s most stylish women.   We all were chatting about Nike release of four new women’s Cortez sneakers.

As for what I’m wearing.  I recently returned back from St. Louis where I attended Honey Child’s boutique #CRAZYSEXYCURVESHCB live look book event.  While there I snatched up this fabulous pleated sheer maxi right off Honey Child’s runway.  Staying true to my whimsical style I paired the skirt with a mesh top as a way to display my Nike Victory Bra.  Fluffed my big hair under my turban and Wala!   A sports theme jeannie.  Plus size edition of course.
