I’ve been a Dove girl for a long time. I first started with their deodorant. I then tried and loved Dove’s body wash. Now Dove is all up in my head or should I say hair. I recently tried Dove’s new Style + Care Extra Hold Hairspray while wand curing my wig. I had tried curling it before but the curls looked a little limp. I was missing the holding spray.
I know I wanted a spray that wasn’t sticky or left the hair hard and crunchy. I wanted to use a spray that good at holding a curl while not leaving my wig looking dull. I found that in the Dove Compressed Micro Mist Hairspray.
Dove said they have reinvented its styling collection to protect hair for a long-lasting, beautiful style. I agree because the curls lasted even though day two of wearing without having to touch them up. My hair was touchable soft and didn’t get frizzy. Dove say’s unlike some hairsprays that leave you with helmet-hair, you won’t have all that stiffness with Dove Style+Care Extra Hold Hairspray. Thought: I really liked Dove’s compressed micro-mist. The fast-drying formula is everything! The super fast-drying non-sticky formula left my wig brushes out soft. Dove say’s the new compressed micro-mist technology provides 25% more sprays per can. I believe it. I was able to curl my whole head with a few sprays. All I had to do was shake the can and spray. I was careful to hold the can 8-10 inches away from hair. I was also happy there wasn’t an alcohol or a random fragrances smell. When I posted the above picture on my Instagram I could of ton of comments. I was shocked. I honestly didn’t think anyone would even notice. Like I said in my prior post, #THECURLNEXTDOOR, I’m natural under my wig and I started wearing wigs after I damaged my hair. Wigs for me now are just easy now.
If you’re thinking about wearing wigs I always say start off with cheap wigs. Wigs aren’t for everyone. You don’t want to spend a ton of money on a wig and then not love it. For me know wigs are an very easy way to do a change up affordably. Be it a new color, cut or style, wigs are a great way to test a change out.
