Chicago Auto Show

The Chicago Auto Show is the largest auto show in North America and has been held more times than any other auto exposition on the continent. First staged in 1901, this year marks the 115th edition of the Chicago Auto Show.  It features multiple world and North American Introductions and the complete range of domestic and imported passenger cars, trucks, sport-utility vehicles, minivans, and experimental and concept cars.  There are numerous automotive accessories and auto-related exhibits, competition vehicles, project cars, antique and collector vehicles, and interactive exhibits.

My thoughts

Predominantly, I had an amazing time at the media preview day for the Chicago Auto Show.  As you can see I tried almost all the things.  It’s super family-friendly.  Ideal for Instagram moments.  The food options are ok.  Depending on the time you’re looking to go I would visit one of the local restaurants to make a day of it.  If you like ramen I would suggest Strings Ramen in Chinatown I really enjoy their Sui Gyoza and Kani Don Sashimi Rice Bowl.

You can also turn your Auto Show visit into a staycation as I did.  Get the details on where I stayed here.  You can find more details on my Chicago Auto Show Staycation here.  Overall the Chicago Auto Show is a fun time with something to do for people of all ages.  10 out of 10 would recommend.
