TIGER TEE AND PLEATED MIDI SKIRT| ST. LOUIS #OOTD DAY TWO

I’ve been obsessed with pleats since forever so when I saw this pleated chartreuse skirt I know I had to have it.  It’s prefect for spring summer and worked well for the first of many roof top events I attend this season.  This skirt was a true show stopper.  Oh and did I mention is has a front split.  Yes, the front split always you to show a little leg.  This high-rise waist skirt comes with smooth woven fabric.  The knife-pleat design skirt does run true to size.  Being 100% polyester the skirt is machine washable.

I paired the chartreuse skirt with a fun tiger tee that I cut the neck of.  The tiger tee and the clutch were the first items received from Zara.   You can see the look I wore on St. Louis day one here.  Zara has not completely turned plus size by any means.  However, Zara does have some items that a plus size girl can pick up.  Before you stop read and run out to Zara let me try you want I feel a plus size girl can get from the trendy store.  Pants are a no.  Zara pants stop at a size 14 and run small.  Tops are a maybe.  Zara tops like their dresses are hit or miss for a plus girl size 18 or smaller.  They have many “oversized” shirts and tees that a curvy girl could wear with no problem.  Accessories are a yes.  I think Zara is a great opportunity for a curvy girl to upgrade her bags game.  I personal love many of the looks Zara has to offer.  Their clothes really speak to my style.  I really to hope they expand their sizes.

I paired this fun look with a “Gold Digger” clutch and white flats.  For me this was perfect look for a roof top fashion show.  It was great to see Marie Dee of thecurvyfashionista hosting the rooftop show.  Her event is the next plus size event I’ll be attending from the 2017 ULTIMATE BUCKET LIST OF PLUS SIZE EVENTS.  Hope to see you there!
