Most importantly, the faces of the iMPOWER campaign (below) will all have their charity or cause donated too.Â
Why does it matter?
First, a good question to ask is why does it matter? We all know many retails have been struggling as of late. Similarly, JCP is no exception. The retailer entered into bankruptcy in 2020. In bid by the brands new owners to turning things around things around JCP has a new slogan “Shopping is back!”
Most importantly, “We’ve always cared deeply about our customers and we have a lot of exciting initiatives underway to make the JCPenney shopping experience even more relevant, accessible and seamless for our customers,” the company said by email. “Our sheer breadth of categories and products provide families the ease of shopping at one destination.” After saying good bye to the Sephora brand JCP is working on their own beauty concept. In addition, the brand is focusing on inclusivity and partnerships with Black founders.
.
In conclusion, It matters because JCPenny is looking to have this launch kick off spring time shopping spree which includes Easters and Mother’s day. Once launched the full collection can be find here.
