Random Thoughts In My Head: 365 DNI
Back in June of 2020, I mused the following. “I’m damn near bilingual. DNI is day is Spanish. Netflix did a thing with 365 DNI. So hear me out. Can we get a remake with Idris? And to help with the budget I’ll play Laura. If you haven’t seen 365 DNI watch it alone. You’ll need peace and wine. Thank me later, lol.” Read other thoughts in my head here.
Well, we haven’t gotten the Idris lead 365 however, part two is on its way.
Netflix’s 365 Days: This Day | What We Know
Netflix has just delivered images and a smoking hot trailer for “365 Days: This Day,” the sequel to “365 Days.” In the sequel, *spoiler alert* Laura (Anna-Maria Sieklucka) is back with handsome mob boss Massimo (Michele Morrone) after part one ended on a cliffhanger.
In the second film, Laura will go through a transformation that brings changes in her relationship, according to a Netflix blog. “My hope is that the audience will understand and see Laura’s new independence and how her life is impacted by the decisions she makes.”
“Are you lost baby girl?!”
Netflix’s 365 Days: This Day | Problems
365 has been accused of contributing to rape culture. At the time of the original release, the controversial movie prompted calls for its removal from the Netflix service. Netflix declined to remove the film, indicating that it carried a caution for violence, sex, and nudity and pointing out that it was an acquisition and not a commission.
The film directed by Barbara Białowąs and Tomasz Mandes. Serving as a sequel to 365 Days, it is based on This Day, the second novel of a trilogy, by Blanka Lipińska, and stars Anna-Maria Sieklucka, Magdalena Lamparska, and Michele Morrone. The film is set for release on Netflix on April 27, 2022.
“I don’t need 365 days.”
