“It’s time for fashion to move forward.” _ Eloquii
Ohio based Eloquii has been on the forefront in plus size fashion for awhile now. ELoquii was originally launched as part of The Limited brand in 2011. Eloquii was the brand’s way of dipping its toe into the plus-size clothing market. A year and a half later The Limited decided they didn’t want to jump into the plus size pool and wanted to focus on their core business.
Eloquii gained a loyal following before they were quietly shuttered by The Limited. Eloquii had serious offers from other retailers and brands when core members of the brand’s team decided to find a private investor to start a new dot com. A little over a year later what the Eloquii team lovingly refers to Eloquii 2.0 happened. The brand relaunched.
The Eloquii team pushed themselves from being only an online presence with a pop-up in the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City. That pop-up bore fruit because Eloquii decided to turn the pop-up into a permanent location. It was at this time Eloquii announced they were launching a pop-up store in Chicago.
Eloquii invited me along with other Chicago plus size influencers to a VIP breakfast and along with a sneak peek of the new Chicago pop-up location. The VIP breakfast was held at the luxury collection Hotel, The Gwen. The breakfast was amazing. It was great seeing all my blogger boos at once. This very rarely happens.
We then made our way over to Eloquii‘s Chicago pop-up location. The pop-up will be located at 520 North Michigan shops. Once inside 520 North you’ll find the Eloquii store near Nordstrom on the 2nd floor. Eloquii is doing a soft launch Thursday August 17th. The store’s grand opening will be September 6th.
I love my Eloquii dress. It’s fun yet sexy. I was able to get it for under $20 during the Eloquii friends and family sale.

They saw first hand my Beyonce’s Formation tour experience and a NYC trip for theCurvycon. Snaps showed L.A. for BlogHer and ATL for TCFStyleExpo and The MakeUp Show Chicago.
