In this blog post, I’m sharing my time at TCFStyle Brunch: Our Table. Our Taste. Our Terms. What I did and wore. Keep reading for details on this plus-size event.
TCFStyle Brunch: Our Table. Our Taste. Our Terms
Thank you for stopping by to read about TCFStyle Brunch: Our Table. Our Taste. Our Terms. It’s been a while since I’ve attended a plus-size event. They don’t come often or at all. So when the event was announced during L.A. Fashion Week, I knew I had to be there to support Marie Denee!
TCFStyle Brunch | Sponsors
Marie Denee said, “[This] declaration for our community as it is for me: a commitment to show up fully, visibly, and unapologetically.” With words like that, I had no choice but to support this plus-size event. LA Fashion Week is a biannual event typically held in March and October. Shows and events are held throughout the Greater Los Angeles area, with different producers using various venues each season.
The TCFStyle 2025 Brunch, themed “Our Table. Our Taste. Our Terms,” took place on Saturday, October 18th, within the Art District at Epic Icon Center space. The event was part plus-size conversation, brunch, shopping event, and karaoke dance party with Elomi being the presenting sponsor. Other event sponsors include Big Fig Mattress (BUILT TO SUPPORT BIG LIVES) and The Plus Bus.

TCFStyle Brunch | Elomi’s Fit Talk
The day began with a Fit Talk about lingerie, confidence, and the power of fit. Hosted by the lingerie brand Elomi and featuring Molly Hopkins from Livi Rae Lingerie. They also did a super cute giveaway. For me, there were three major takeaways from the Fit Talk. One learn your breasts. Touch them often, feel for changes, and have fun while doing it! Two, get fitted every six months, not every six years, lol. As our bodies change, so should our bras; update because our shoulders and backs deserve it. Lastly, the third takeaway was that there is a science to bra-wearing. Learn proper bra placement. For example, If the back part of your bra is riding up, then it’s most likely too small, and that makes your bra hang low in the front. I left feeling very educated on bras and how they should fit. Elomi was featured at the TCFStyle Market, and for those who missed the event, Elomi lingerie can be purchased at Macy’s, Nordstrom, Dillard’s, or the company’s website.

TCFStyle Brunch | Talk with Indie Designers
The TCF panel for this year were indie designers using their skills as well as their voices to shape the future of plus-size fashion. They all focused on the legacy they plan on leaving with their lines. Tracy Christian of Sante Grace, redefining power dressing for the modern woman. Suzanne Vinnik of By VINNIK, where art meets size inclusivity with unapologetic creativity. Cynthia Vincent of Baacal Official, CFDA member and founder of Baacal, proving that luxury and inclusivity can coexist — beautifully.
