Melissa Holdbrook-Akposoe aka MelissasWardrobe is a known tastemaker and it girl.  She coined the term “It’s the a lifestyle hun” and lives that motto in all she does.  Melissa, or Mel as Stormyz calls her, hit thefatgirloffashion radar in mid-2020, early 2021, and has been a favorite ever since.  The UK-based multi-hyphenate uses her platform to speak on living a life that includes all the best things it has to offer.  She freely shares her love of God and her personal life to a point (Mel does not share her marriage and her child).  Can I say with so much oversharing for likes, I’m happy she doesn’t.  When I follow a person I want to follow them and only them, lol.  She does share all the most have from high-end cars like Landrovers and luggage like Rimowa to the next big thing to pick up from the local Marks and Spencer or Trader Joes.

The itsalifestylehun creator has now set her sights on making the act of doing laundry less of a chore and more luxurious.  When our timeline can often show an endless stream of influencers launching bundle brands, Mel has chosen to disrupt a diva’s regularly scheduled laundry service with LE LUXE.  This is her smells better than clean perfume-infused laundry products.  LE LUXE is currently available in 3 scents.  Rose Glacé, Vintage Vanilla, or Fresh Cotton scents, which all come in the form of wash beads, tumble dryer sheets, and mist refresher.  Each scent and laundry product can be purchased individually.  There are also single-scented sets that include the wash beads, dryer sheets, and a mist refresher.

NOTE: LE LUXE’s founder says the scented laundry brand works best with non-scented laundry liquid detergent.  Like Tide Simply Free & Sensitive, All Free Clear for Sensitive Skin, Molly’s Suds – Unscented.  or the Black-owned brand, True Products Free & Clear Detergent.  She also added that LE LUXE is currently working on its own liquid detergent that will mirror the scents of the brand’s 3 fragrance lines.

As a non-gatekeeper, I’m sharing all the details so you can get your hands on your favorite scent from LE LUXE.  First of all the price is the price, ok.  With that said, the price range is $50 to $135.  Mel has said that LE LUXE ships worldwide.  Our UK girlie has set up a US distribution center, so after the initial launch, the average shipping time should be 2 to 6 days after processing.  LE LUXE can be purchased on leluxe.co.  Neat freaks, do you see yourself picking up one of the scents?  If so, which one?
