I have found myself traveling to events in Atlanta more and more. When I was confirmed to attend Essence + New Voices Entrepreneur Summit & Target Holiday Market I know that I was going to be in Atlanta for 3 days. This meant I had time to see parts of the city I hadn’t in the past. Two places I know I wanted to visit was the World of Coca-Cola and the Georgia Aquarium.
The World of Coca-Cola and the Georgia Aquarium are both located downtown Atlanta near Baker St North West. If you find yourself pressed for time you can visit both in one day. I, however, choose to break my visit sup. In attending both places solo I found picturing taken was not an issue. Both had staff and other visitors willing to snap pictures for me.

When visiting the World of Coca-Cola there are some things to keep in mind. There are two types of tours. The first is VIP Guided Tours were you can a personalized tour in a small group setting. Or a self-guided tour. Note: Even with the self-guided each attraction has staff available to explain in detail information about the history of Coca-Cola. Each ticket includes access to all of World of Coca‑Cola’s exhibits, films, and experiences.
The museum hours vary so I suggest confirming the hours before visiting. You can also purchase tickets online which also you to skip the ticketing line, Toward the end of the tour you taste more than 100 beverages from the Coca-Cola family from around the globe. My favorite was Stoney from the African drink bar. Don’t forget to bring extra cash because the tours exits through the World of Coca-Cola store. Get more information on the World of Coca-Cola here.

When visiting the Georgia Aquarium there are some things to keep in mind. There are many different add on that can done with visiting. For example interactive time with Beluga, Behind the Seas Tour, Dolphin Encounter, and the Penguin waddle just to name a few. Also with good planning you can attend events like Yoga by the Water.
Georgia Aquarium is nonprofit and the largest aquarium in the western hemisphere. They have made a comment to awareness and preservation of our ocean and aquatic animals around the globe. In supporting the Georgia Aquarium helps them with their mission of treating every animal with love and care, and concentrate research and conservation activities where they matter most.
In order to the must out your visit confirm the status of the aquatic animals you’re looking to see. Check the hours on special exhibits. Get more information on the Georgia Aquarium here.
