Essence + New Voices Entrepreneur Summit and Target Holiday Market day 3 capped off a summit that offered a variety of information. I attended a few more panels and hung out in the kids and the wellness village. There was also an award ceremony for the business represented in the Target Market Place.

For day 3 I spent a lovely time in the kids and wellness villages. It was great seeing black business owners create solutions to problems that black people have. The creative and entrepreneurial spirit was on full display.

The 3-day ESSENCE + New Voices Entrepreneur Summit and Target Holiday Market event ended with an award ceremony. It was great seeing black women in business being rewarded for all their hard work. It was made clear that the award-winning businesses ain’t better than the other businesses who didn’t win. The New Voice team just wanted to shine a light on black women are CEO of small businesses that are creating opportunities for others within the black community.
