Fashion Fair Cosmetics

The premiere cosmetic store Sephora will be the vehicle for Fashion Fair Cosmetics relaunch.  Launched in the ’70s Fashion Fair was the go-to brand for Black women.  Honestly, for a time it was one of the only brands that catered to Black women.  At it’s height Fashion Fair’s reach expanded to 2,500 department stores, spanning three continents.

Currently, Desirée Rogers and Cheryl Mayberry McKissack maintain majority ownership of the beauty brand.  They also own Black Opal, another cosmetics brand that focuses on Black women.  The Black Opal brand has recently relaunched itself within Ulta Beauty Stores and ultabeauty.com
