You Are Beautiful

Slipped on this dress.  Looked at myself and thought “You Are Beautiful.”  This is something that needs to be remembered by Black women.

You Are Beautiful

You Are Beautiful

Even when the world says my Black features are attractive on everyone but me. I have to remember to hold tight to my crown.  My fat Black life matters even now that your feed, your life, and your ways are going back to normal.

Believe in you

My summer body is not shaped like an hourglass. I’m darker than a paper bag.  I started thefatgirloffashion.com to give a voice to women who look like me.  I believe in your beauty as I believe in mine. Believe in you too!
