MY DAY WITH OPRAH
“What I know for sure is we can all come together to support a stronger, healthier, more abundant life – focused on what makes us feel energized, connected and empowered,”_Oprah Winfrey.
MY DAY WITH OPRAH
My day with Oprah took place at the Dallas stop of Oprah’s 2020 Vision Your Life In Focus tour. Oprah along with WW – (Weight Watchers Reimagined) are looking to inspire millions of people to adopt healthy habits for real life. They want 2020 to be the year of wellness and renewal. The tour is being produced by Live Nation in conjunction with Women Nation. Women Nation is the newly formed division of Live Nation dedicated to women-led and women driven live events.
My Day With Oprah | What We Did
I spent the day with Oprah as she shared her ups and downs of her wellness journey. Oprah then helped develop a 2020 action plan. Tracee Ellis Ross then joined Oprah on stage for an intimate one-on-one conversation. It began a day full of wellness.
The DAYBREAKER team started us off with a pre-show dance party.
Emmy Award-winning choreographer Julianne Hough led an exhilarating movement experience using her KINRGY method. KINRGY is a 45-minute dance-driven, high-intensity workout designed for a whole-self experience. Inspired by the elements, the KINRGY method takes you through a journey of dance, meditation, breathwork and strength training to sculpt the mind, body, and soul.
Tracee Ellis Ross then joined Oprah on stage for an intimate one-on-one conversation. They talked about taking charge of their lives and creating lasting change. I will go into depth about the gem Tracee dropped in my next post.
Oprah then wrap up the day as only she can. With a finale that empowers audiences to let 2020 be a year of transformation and triumph—beginning first and foremost with what makes us well.
My Day With Oprah | What I learned
My day with Oprah has thought me some things about myself as well as the WW brand. I learned WW formerly known as Weight Watchers started as a get-together at the creators home. It quickly turned into the nationwide gathering of people looking to improve themselves.
I also learned a lot while at the Dallas stop of Oprah’s 2020 Vision tour. Tour has partnerships that will ensure that over $1 million in tour proceeds will benefit WWW Good, WWW Good is the philanthropic arm of WW that helps bring fresh, healthy food to underserved communities nationwide.
Choose to attend the Dallas stop was well worth it. Very glad I took the time to focus on me.
